This was one of the best hotel experiences of my life (and I'm 59 years old). The hotel is perfectly situated for a city break - ten minutes walk from the city centre but in a quiet side street. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Questions were dealt with immediately and with courtesy, and a minor problem with a window blind was sorted out efficiently. The hotel breakfast was of excellent quality and included in the price - given that breakfasts per person in decent hotels can be around the 30 Euros mark, and a good breakfast was essential to making the most of the city sights, this was an important feature of our stay. We were also delighted to be upgraded to an even better room than we had booked (indeed, a suite - it was my wife's 60th birthday) and the gift of a free bottle of fizz to celebrate my wife's birthday was much appreciated. Probably needless to say, the room was scrupulously clean, the bed was very comfortable, and housekeeping was top notch. In short, the hotel's excellence made a key contribution to a truly wonderful and memorable stay in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and happy to assist with any questions we had. Breakfast was excellent. We only stayed for one night, so I cannot comment on the variety of breakfast options. Please note that there is no parking at the hotel itself. However, there is a parking garage affiliated with the hotel a few minutes’ walk away. Alternatively, street parking is available in nearby streets, but be mindful of street signs."

The staff is incredibly friendly, creating the feeling of „coming home“, extensive tea selection at breakfast, and coffee menu, all coffee is freshly made and proper Kaffeehaus quality. The bar menu is reasonable with a small but very well chosen wine selection of locals like Mayer‘s Gemischter Satz, bar staff was friendly and chatty but not into one’s face and happily served us strudel (with hot custard) despite the kitchen been closed. The location is just perfect, a quiet street just around the corner from Ringstraße, easy access to all the sights, most within walking distance.

Excellent location to get to know Viena: not in the midst of mass tourism areas, but a short walking distance from beautiful and vibrant Karlsplatz and its public transportation node. The service at the hotel was very efficient, professional and discreet. Great breakfast by all standards! Our room (junior suite) was big, well furnished and well equiped, perfectly quiet. A GREAT place altogether! I would go again without thinking twice.
